Hilario Orozco vs Joaquin Quijas

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Tolentino, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

Clearly Ondoa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hilario Orozco (8 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Joaquin Quijas(8 - 11) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Orozco and Quijas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manuel Damaso, and the three ringside judges are Neron Archibeque, Joaquin Santin and Neron Archibeque.  

Round 1: 

Orozco is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Orozco gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Quijas's body.
