Juan Camara vs Juan Varona

Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Olindo Guillen Gym, Maracaibo,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

Clearly Sowah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Camara (9 - 9 - 3) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Juan Varona(4 - 8 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Camara and Varona weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Blando, and the three ringside judges are Salvador Machin, Santiago Soriano and Juan Lince.

Camara pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
