Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Los Angeles Haile, Los Angeles,  taking place on 25/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ramirez Cuba (4 - 0) who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico and Scott Dollar(5 - 0 - 1) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Cuba and Dollar weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Hankin, and the three ringside judges are James Keay, Lewis Suttie and John Dickie.  

Round 1: 

Cuba is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Cuba ties up his opponent.  Cuba uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dollar behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cuba sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cuba hits home with a left hook.  Cuba holds on to his opponent.  Cuba tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dollar behind the head. The referee warns Cuba and breaks the clinch.  
Cuba lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cuba is on target with a right uppercut.  
Cuba hits home with a right hook.  
Cuba forces Dollar to retreat into a corner.  Cuba digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dollar connects with a cross.  
Dollar lands a cross to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cuba advances into close range.  Dollar throws a left hook, but Cuba ties up his opponent.  Cuba pushes his forearm into Dollar's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cuba to stop fouling.  
Cuba lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cuba forces Dollar to back into the red corner.  Cuba digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Cuba lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cuba connects with a cross.  
Cuba closes the distance.  Dollar attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Cuba to the neutral corner.  He warns Dollar to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Cuba cuts off the ring, trapping Dollar in a neutral corner.  Cuba lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cuba lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cuba tries to land a right hook, but Dollar blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cuba is on target with a jab.  
Cuba gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dollar's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Dollar's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
