Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Goga Kot (14(2) - 6 - 1) who hails from Novorossiysk, Russia and John Mein(15(2) - 6(4)) from Minneapolis, USA.  Kot weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mein weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Profit, and the three ringside judges are Pepe Brunetti, Sammy Feamster and Seth Urbano.
