Royal Obie vs Merral Gessler

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-West promoted show at Geneva Delpy, Geneva,  taking place on 01/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport Szene Fernsehen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Royal Obie (10 - 4(1) - 4) who hails from Geneva, Switzerland and Merral Gessler(7 - 0 - 1) from Winterthur, Switzerland.  Obie weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces, while Gessler weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Germain Villechaize, and the three ringside judges are Marcel Filipacchi, Porter Carre and Launcelot Damita.  

Round 1:
