Haaris Masood vs Zain Rassi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Esteghlal Hotel, Tehran,  taking place on 01/04/2026:

Clearly AI Iran-Tehran have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Tehran Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Masood (9 - 2 - 2) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Zain Rassi(11 - 4 - 1) from Tehran, Iran.  Masood weighed in at 249 pounds and 14 ounces, while Rassi weighed in at 254 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Siddiqi, and the three ringside judges are Ali Khalifa, Ibrahim Jalil and Obaid Sharifi.
