Michael Abernethy vs Shayan Dahdah

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 29/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Abernethy (21(14) - 1(1)) who hails from Jackson, USA and Shayan Dahdah(15(1) - 5 - 1) from Aden, Yemen.  Both Abernethy and Dahdah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Jackson, and the three ringside judges are Cole Milroy, Rich Lawter and Joey Duffie.  

Round 1: 

Abernethy lands a double jab to his opponents head.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Abernethy thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Dahdah away.  Abernethy lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DAHDAH DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Abernethy!
