Eloy Coito vs Carlos Almas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Medellin, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 01/04/2026:

Clearly AI Honduras-Cortes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eloy Coito (16(3) - 4 - 1) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Carlos Almas(6 - 9 - 5) from Choloma, Honduras.  Coito weighed in at 115 pounds, while Almas weighed in at 114 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Millian, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Salina, Hernan Barrantes and Ulises Travieso.
