Gethin Jones vs Johnny Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at New York City Lou, New York City,  taking place on 01/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New York State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Jones (16 - 4) who hails from Buffalo, USA and Johnny Gallagher(9 - 6 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Jones weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gallagher weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sean Jackson, and the three ringside judges are Davie Cleary, Lee Gladstone and Nico Rossettini.  

Round 1: 

Jones feints a cross, and then is on target with an overhand left.
