Mark Chiroto vs Mark Sibanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Mtukudzi, Harare,  taking place on 01/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Chiroto (12 - 2) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Mark Sibanda(6 - 4 - 1) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Chiroto weighed in at 126 pounds, while Sibanda weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lado Nkala, and the three ringside judges are Edward Chung, Bryn Chinmano and Chris Tholet.  

Round 1: 

Chiroto hits home with a sharp left hook.
