Danny Panyin vs Penda Nguni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 29/04/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Panyin (11 - 0) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Penda Nguni(16 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Panyin weighed in at 242 pounds And 2 ounces, while Nguni weighed in at 226 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Isaac Chohan, and the three ringside judges are Thomas Kotze, Quaashie Duncan and Justus De Vries.
