Armani Agbeko vs Itumeleng Serero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Jongh, Cape Town,  taking place on 05/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Armani Agbeko (10 - 0) who hails from East London, South Africa and Itumeleng Serero(6 - 1 - 2) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Agbeko weighed in at 108 pounds, while Serero weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Madisha Mini, and the three ringside judges are Rob Ndombe, Kasi Hlatshwayo and Luvolwethu Nyatama.
