Blake Finlay vs Michael Evans

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Blake Finlay (0 - 0) who hails from Louisville, USA and Michael Evans(1 - 0) from Las Vegas, USA.  Finlay weighed in at 234 pounds and 4 ounces, while Evans weighed in at 247 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mike Stobie, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Burt, Hugh Hier and Fred Reese.

Finlay walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Finlay digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Finlay tries to land a right hook, but Evans blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Finlay's liver.
