Marjun Mederos vs Angel Anzures

Boxing Daily Report from the Supreme Boxing Promotions promoted show at Havana Fletes, Havana,  taking place on 19/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Marjun Mederos (3 - 0) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Angel Anzures(1 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Mederos and Anzures weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Olguin, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Abela, Reyes Amaro and Urvano Domingo.  

Round 1: 

Mederos advances into close range.  Anzures throws a left hook, but Mederos clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mederos pushes his forearm into Anzures's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Anzures closes the distance.  Mederos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Anzures throws a right uppercut, but Mederos ties up his opponent.  Anzures is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mederos throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Mederos pushes his forearm into Anzures's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mederos.  
Mederos lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Mederos forces Anzures to back into a corner.  Mederos lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
