Huang-fu Ge vs Woo Cho

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 09/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the East Asian Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Huang-fu Ge (14(3) - 7(3)) who hails from Zigong, China and Woo Cho(15(7) - 2(1)) from Xian, China.  Ge weighed in at 115 pounds, while Cho weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sun Auyoung, and the three ringside judges are Xi-Wang Sha, Lao-Tzu Min and Yuan Hsu.  

Round 1: 

Ge lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
