Ndumisa Segolela vs Steven Kabukabu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 07/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ndumisa Segolela (5 - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Steven Kabukabu(4 - 0) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Segolela and Kabukabu weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Mulder, and the three ringside judges are Ndumisa Ntuli, Dillon Strydom and Tokelo Motupa.  

Round 1: 

Kabukabu lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.
