Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Kitakyushu Okane, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 13/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Kenji Namba (0 - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Soo-il Kye(1 - 2 - 1) from Jeonju, South Korea.  Both Namba and Kye weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Matsumura, and the three ringside judges are Goro Koizumi, Kaede Kuba and Yuji Sakai.

Namba tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Kye is looking to close the distance.  Namba lands a left hook.  Namba clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Namba pushes his forearm into Kye's face.  The referee warns Namba and breaks the clinch.  
Kye advances into close range.  Namba lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Namba drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Kye gets on the inside.  Namba drives a right hook into Kye's ribs.  Namba wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kye dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kye throws a left uppercut, but Namba ties up his opponent.  Namba leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Namba is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kye forces Namba to back into the ropes.  Kye feints a left hook, and then lands a right hook.  
Kye throws a left uppercut, but Namba holds on to his opponent.  Namba leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Namba forces Kye to retreat into the corner.  Namba is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Namba lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Namba lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Namba lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Namba lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.
