Rodrigo Candelaria vs Juan Briones

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on America Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rodrigo Candelaria (17(3) - 7(1)) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Juan Briones(17 - 2 - 1) from Salta, Argentina.  Candelaria weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Briones weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xabat Mandes, and the three ringside judges are Montenegro Lorenzana, Frisco Mosquera and Reynaldo Fernandez.
