Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Montevideo Portilla, Montevideo,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Joaquin Pelayo (5 - 0) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Gabriel Minjarez(4 - 2) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Pelayo and Minjarez weighed in at 122 pounds.
