Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at Mark Begg Gym, Henderson,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Egil Farver (0 - 0) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and Connor Roland(1 - 0 - 2) from San Jose, USA.  Both Farver and Roland weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Doctor, and the three ringside judges are Edward Almodovar, Ian Levingston and Dale Cloyd.  

Round 1: 

Farver lands a jab.

Farver switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Farver closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Farver ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Roland is on target with a jab.

Farver steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Roland's ribs.  
Farver gets on the inside.  Roland throws a right uppercut, but Farver clinches his opponent.  Farver is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Farver switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Farver hits home with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Roland's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Roland's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Roland's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
