Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amoll Jass (6(1) - 0) who hails from Freiburg, Germany and Marcel Karpiak(15 - 5 - 1) from Gdansk, Poland.  Both Jass and Karpiak weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shane MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Hobbs, Roy Spalding and Nathan McKay.  

Round 1: 

Jass is looking to close the distance.  Karpiak pivots from in front of his opponent.  Jass lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Jass lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Jass lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Jass ties up his opponent.  Jass is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jass about fouling.

Jass lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Jass steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jass digs in a stinging right uppercut to Karpiak's body.  
Jass advances into close range.  Karpiak pivots to the side of his opponent.  Karpiak throws a left uppercut, but Jass clinches his opponent.  Jass is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jass lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Karpiak digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Karpiak attempts to land a jab, but Jass blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Karpiak tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Jass steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Jass digs in a left hook to Karpiak's body.  
Jass manages to force Karpiak onto the ropes.  Jass feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Jass advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Karpiak pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jass digs in a left hook to Karpiak's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Karpiak dabs at his face checking for damage.

Jass drives a powerful left uppercut into Karpiak's body.  KARPIAK IS HURT!  Karpiak almost instantly recovers. 
Jass lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Jass lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Karpiak attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Jass's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
