Lee Jernigan vs Zachary Mattix

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Grays civic hall, London,  taking place on 23/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the British-Southern England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lee Jernigan (16 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Zachary Mattix(10 - 7(1) - 2) from London, UK.  Jernigan weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mattix weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Bains, and the three ringside judges are Joel Lowry, Ewan Musto and Richie Horn.  

Round 1: 

Mattix sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jernigan is on target with a right hook.
