Elliot Tataw vs Verrill Njitam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Centre promoted show at Hilton Yaoundé Bouma Hall, Yaoundé,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cameroon Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elliot Tataw (14 - 2 - 2) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Verrill Njitam(14 - 6(1)) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Tataw weighed in at 126 pounds, while Njitam weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louis Bon, and the three ringside judges are Ross Beaudin, Nicolas Baga and Carolus Papineau.
