Vicente Lacayo vs Montego Matas

Boxing Daily Report from the Vilakazi Promotions promoted show at Las Condes Marquina, Las Condes,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Lacayo (6 - 0) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Montego Matas(14 - 5) from Maipu, Chile.  Both Lacayo and Matas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Virgen, and the three ringside judges are Fresco Collazo, Ora Silvera and Lisandro Almonte.
