Xing-fu Tsang vs On Hsiao

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Zhejiang promoted show at Hui-chao Shum Gym, Wenzhou,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Zhejiang Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xing-fu Tsang (7 - 8 - 4) who hails from Ningbo, China and On Hsiao(10 - 8) from Hangzhou, China.  Both Tsang and Hsiao weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zhuang Penn, and the three ringside judges are Jun Joe, Zhuang Penn and Lee Bon.  

Round 1: 

Hsiao steps inside and walks Tsang into a neutral corner.  Hsiao lands a right hook.  
Hsiao pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Hsiao lands a cross.  
Hsiao advances into close range.  Tsang is on target with a right hook.  
Hsiao connects with a cross.  
Hsiao pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tsang attempts to land a left hook, but Hsiao parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Tsang lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hsiao dabs at his face checking for damage.  Hsiao has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.
