Billy Samkange vs Davie Rusere

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Chitungwiza Jaure, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Samkange (9 - 8 - 3) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Davie Rusere(5 - 11 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Samkange and Rusere weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kai Sithole, and the three ringside judges are Ian Mataz, Edward Chung and Connor Sadomba.
