Callum Kipe vs Sam Young

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 27/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Pacific Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Callum Snipe Kipe (10(6) - 0) who hails from Moreno Valley, USA and Sam Young(9 - 5(2) - 9) from Modesto, USA.  Both Kipe and Young weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Abdelnour, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Valdivia, Dillon Downey and David Madoc.  

Round 1: 

Kipe closes the distance.  Young throws a left hook, but Kipe holds on to his opponent.  Kipe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kipe gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kipe holds on to his opponent.  Kipe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kipe manages to force Young into a neutral corner.  Kipe lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kipe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kipe hits home with a firm right hook.  Kipe ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kipe pushes his forearm into Young's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kipe about fouling.  
Young could be stopped here, if Kipe can find the right shot!  Kipe is on target with a potent left uppercut to his opponents body.  YOUNG IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Young has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kipe lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Young recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kipe drives a firm left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kipe steps inside.  Young throws a left hook, but Kipe holds on to his opponent.  Kipe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Kipe pushes his forearm into Young's face.  The referee warns Kipe and breaks the clinch.  
Kipe lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kipe advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Young's body.  Kipe attempts to land a left uppercut, but Young sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kipe is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Kipe ties up his opponent.  Kipe leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kipe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kipe lands a hard jab.  
Young throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kipe steps inside.  Young sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kipe lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kipe holds on to his opponent.  Kipe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Young quickly recovers. 
Kipe lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kipe senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Young and just needs the right shot.  Kipe lands a left uppercut, cross and a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  The winner by KO is Kipe!
