Minura Alekperov vs Jun Ming

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Philharmonic Winter Hall, Baku,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the West Asian Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Minura Alekperov (13 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Jun Ming(17 - 2) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Alekperov and Ming weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alesger Aslanov, and the three ringside judges are Huseinqulu Ismailov, Urfan Abaskuliyev and Samad Farra.
