Confucius Soong vs Jing Uong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shandong promoted show at Quon Yu Gym, Jinan,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

Clearly AI China-Shandong have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shandong Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Confucius Soong (4 - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Qingdao, China and Jing Uong(6 - 8(1) - 4) from Zibo, China.  Soong weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Uong weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hui-chao Xiong, and the three ringside judges are Quon Mai, Liko Fu and Niao-ka Go.
