Manny Alatorre vs Juan Cajigas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Vayo, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manny Alatorre (13 - 4 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Juan Cajigas(12 - 9) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Alatorre and Cajigas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Rubio, and the three ringside judges are Diego Portilla, Neron La Torre and Federico Carmen.
