Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Port Said promoted show at Jawad Mowad Gym, Port Said,  taking place on 18/03/2026:

Clearly AI Egypt-Port Said have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Port Said Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Abdo (11 - 5 - 5) who hails from Port Said, Egypt and Aftab Shafik(9 - 5 - 1) from Port Said, Egypt.  Abdo weighed in at 140 pounds, while Shafik weighed in at 138 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Ayub, and the three ringside judges are Saad Debs, Waqar Jalali and Yasin Heikal.
