Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Centre for Sport, Newcastle,  taking place on 09/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Russell Russley Russell (11(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Newcastle, UK and Mark Mullane(7 - 8 - 3) from London, UK.  Russell weighed in at 167 pounds and 3 ounces, while Mullane weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Ryan, and the three ringside judges are Paul McComb, Glynn James and Mervyn Cour.
