Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Napoleon Boxing Complex, Accra,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are David Eck (4 - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Thompson Ubido(4 - 2 - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Eck and Ubido weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Adams, and the three ringside judges are John Akafia, Corey Offei and Neil Sribor.  

Round 1: 

Ubido connects with a cross.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Eck dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Eck is on target with a stinging jab.  
Eck manouvers Ubido into the blue corner.  Eck lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Eck lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Eck lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
