Malte Frykman vs Simon Wist

Boxing Daily Report from the Valhalla promotions promoted show at Stockholm Concert Centre, Stockholm,  taking place on 25/04/2026:

Clearly Valhalla promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malte Frykman (8 - 0) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Simon Wist(4 - 10(1) - 7) from Malmo, Sweden.  Both Frykman and Wist weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Berwald, and the three ringside judges are Gustav Renstrom, Vincent Beckman and Leon Bergeson.  

Round 1: 

Frykman lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Wist tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Frykman digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Frykman clinches his opponent.  Frykman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Frykman.  
Frykman tries to keep the action at long range.  Frykman feints a left, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Frykman throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Frykman advances into close range.  Frykman pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Frykman pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wist wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Frykman dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Wist's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Wist's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
