Kain Sutinen vs Olli Soikkeli

Boxing Daily Report from the Folotiya Promotions promoted show at Helsinki Korpelainen, Helsinki,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kain Sutinen (9 - 10 - 2) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Olli Soikkeli(9 - 9) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Sutinen and Soikkeli weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eemil Porkka, and the three ringside judges are Aake Hanski, Aulis Isokangas and Veijo Arajarvi.  

Round 1: 

Soikkeli gets on the inside.  Soikkeli sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Sutinen steps to the outside.  Sutinen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Soikkeli sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sutinen lands a left uppercut.  Sutinen throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sutinen finds the target with a jab.  
Soikkeli steps inside.  Soikkeli wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sutinen dabs at his face checking for damage.
