Ulan Koranteng vs Ali Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Jamali, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/03/2026:

Clearly AI Ghana-Ashanti have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulan Koranteng (6 - 11 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Ali Akbar(14 - 5 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Koranteng and Akbar weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Salawu, and the three ringside judges are Haider Raad, Faraji Anyidoho and Rob Adjei.
