Gregor Fini vs Dave Crabbe

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwesele Promotions promoted show at Glynn Coll Gym, Jersey City,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gregor Fini (7 - 4 - 4) who hails from Newark, USA and Dave Crabbe(7 - 3 - 4) from Newark, USA.  Both Fini and Crabbe weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Bowell, and the three ringside judges are Theo Halley, Cody Normand and Ian Leaper.  

Round 1: 

Crabbe throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fini attempts to land a jab, but Crabbe sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Crabbe sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Fini steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Crabbe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Crabbe attempts to land a left hook, but Fini sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Crabbe steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Fini drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Crabbe closes the distance.  Fini pivots to the side of his opponent.  Crabbe is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fini's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Fini's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Crabbe's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
