Aristo Chontos vs Philippe Herod

Boxing Daily Report from the Athens Boxing Club promoted show at Athens Gonce, Athens,  taking place on 19/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Greece Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ERT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aristo Chontos (12 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Athens, Greece and Philippe Herod(16 - 1 - 1) from Peristeri, Greece.  Chontos weighed in at 200 pounds, while Herod weighed in at 199 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charybdis Xenakis, and the three ringside judges are Telephus Carras, Anstiss Barba and Charybdis Xenakis.
