Louis Muepu vs Mehmed Akdemir

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 25/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Muepu (22 - 4(2)) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Mehmed Akdemir(13 - 8(2) - 1) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Muepu and Akdemir weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Here Van Heerden, and the three ringside judges are Bernardus Hertzog, Michael Grobbelaar and Vuyisile Sekola.
