Rudi Laas vs Afanas Starkovich

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at NurnbergMesse, Nuremberg,  taking place on 25/04/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rudi Laas (6(1) - 0) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Afanas Starkovich(10 - 8 - 3) from Brest, Belarus.  Laas weighed in at 168 pounds, while Starkovich weighed in at 167 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dietz Pilling, and the three ringside judges are Alger Jenne, Manfried Kubach and Bannruod Aken.  

Round 1:

Laas sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Laas connects with a mean right hook.  STARKOVICH IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Laas!
