Zuffur Darwish vs Waleed Rafiev

Boxing Daily Report from the Feruka Promotions promoted show at Tabriz Abed, Tabriz,  taking place on 20/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zuffur Darwish (13 - 2) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Waleed Rafiev(16(2) - 4) from Tabriz, Iran.  Darwish weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Rafiev weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Galla, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Edigarov, Mohsin Sesay and Waleed Sadyhov.
