Chevy Mellett vs Colville Fauteux

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at VIP Boxing Club, Gaineau,  taking place on 13/04/2026:

Clearly AI Canada-Quebec have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chevy Mellett (7 - 4 - 3) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Colville Fauteux(6 - 0) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Mellett and Fauteux weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Briant Sarraute and Gerard Segalen.  

Round 1: 

Fauteux advances into close range.  Fauteux pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.
