Douglas Powell vs Dave Bannerman

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 12/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Douglas Powell (10(3) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Dave Bannerman(3 - 0) from Newcastle, UK.  Powell weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces, while Bannerman weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Rhind, and the three ringside judges are Gus Cruguet, Fred Perry and Adam MacLaine.
