Wijaya Aswin vs Gathot Karno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Indonesia-South Sumatra promoted show at Rashid Sabet Gym, Palembang,  taking place on 21/04/2026:

Clearly AI Indonesia-South Sumatra have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Indonesia-South Sumatra Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wijaya Aswin (4 - 6 - 2) who hails from Palembang, Indonesia and Gathot Karno(6 - 1) from Palembang, Indonesia.  Both Aswin and Karno weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Naseer, and the three ringside judges are Baskoro Tanoto, Haaris Masood and Imam Asmoredjo.
