Jiro Nishi vs Daichi Fujii

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Eiji Shimomura Gym, Yokosuka,  taking place on 20/04/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Kanagawa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Nishi (9 - 10 - 1) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Daichi Fujii(8 - 12(1) - 1) from Yokosuka, Japan.  Nishi weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces, while Fujii weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Kita, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Nakai, Hiroki Nakazawa and Hikaru Koizumi.
