Naoki Miki vs Jun Nakano

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 09/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naoki Miki (10 - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Nakano(13 - 0) from Tokyo, Japan.  Miki weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Nakano weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Koizumi, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Iida, Hisao Hatanaka and Kyo Arima.
