Bryn Qqu vs Danny Lagat

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Kiplagat, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/03/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nairobi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryn Qqu (9 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Danny Lagat(6 - 5) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Qqu weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Lagat weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Abed, and the three ringside judges are Rob Birdi, Billy Tumbo and Kashif Haque.
