Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at New York City Serantoni, New York City,  taking place on 19/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Santiago Ruano (5 - 0) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Paul Cody(4 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Ruano and Cody weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Milroy, and the three ringside judges are Ellis Cammon, David Fidler and Mike Robb.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cody dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Cody.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
