Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Gikonyo (7 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Dele Muthama(13(1) - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Gikonyo and Muthama weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Waiyaki, and the three ringside judges are Noah Odoyo, Lee Rebelo and Duncan Wakihuri.
