Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Kazuhiko Miura Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Takayama (8 - 2) who hails from Toyota, Japan and Mitsuru Ogata(9 - 5 - 2) from Kasugai, Japan.  Both Takayama and Ogata weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Azuma, Kenji Shimoda and Nao Sugiyama.
